Nestled in the Ortenau region of Germany the Seibelseckle – Seebach ski resort is a very small area with a great deal of character, attracting locals and tourists from all over the world to try out the slopes. With only 0.5km of slopes to utilize and 1 ski lift, it is a simple, uncomplicated resort that has the luxury of a gentle descent in between elevations of 930m and 1,055m. This makes it ideal for first-time skiers and winter sports novices to hit the slopes without fear of overcrowding or queuing.
The entirety of the slope here is categorised as an intermediate red run, which means even beginners can learn the ropes, whilst also challenging themselves to improve during their stay. With the addition of a valley run, a snow park for freestylers and night skiing for those who want to extend their ski day, there is more than enough to occupy avid skiers and boarders.
At the end of the day, the best place for sustenance is the village of Seebach, which has amongst other places, an excellent steakhouse called Steakhaus Kaminstub'n am Wolfsbrunnen.
