There are over 5km of fresh slopes to discover for skiers and snowboarders, as well as 3 ski lifts that can be used to navigate around. The resort is also in between elevations of 660m and 840m.
At this quieter resort, pleasure skiers and families are in abundance, enjoying the slopes and other winter sports activities on offer. There is 1.5km of easy blue runs, 2km of intermediate red runs and 1.5km of difficult black runs. With the sheer variety on offer, it ensures that skiers and snowboarders of all abilities have something to challenge them. Whether it is getting to grips with a day on the snow for the very first time, or trying to hone your technique on a sharp descent, there is something for everyone.
The closest place for food to the resort has to be the Berghütte Simmelsberg, although it might be worth visitors and residents looking a bit further afield. The town of Gersfeld has many other superb offerings, such as Alpina Bistorante and Pizzeria Roma Gersfeld.
