Herzogstand-Walchensee ski resort can be found in Tolzer and, Upper Bavaria, Bavaria, Germany. This cosy resort offers a great skiing experience on 6km of slopes, there are slopes available for all gradients of skiers, ‘easy’ slopes have 0.8km to practice on and to learn the skills required this is also a perfect run for children. ‘Intermediate’ skiers have the majority of the slopes owning 4.2km, and for advanced skiers there is also a 1km ‘difficult’ run. Elevations for skiing at between 809m and 1,600m, higher peaks can be reached by foot. If the slopes aren’t enough then skiing through the alpines on the valley run might hit the spot.
Take ski lift A to Fahrenberg at 1,620m, dining at this high altitude is recommended, Herzogstandhaus is a welcoming restaurant serving a delicious menu. Here guests are able to go on little hiking trail to really take in and appreciate the views, Martinskopf (1,674m) can be reached from here. Guests are able to access both ‘easy’ and ‘intermediate’ runs from this point.
