The Winterberg ski resort can be found hidden in Sauerland, Central Uplands of Germany. This modern resort owns 12 state-of-the-art chair lifts, 9 drag lifts and 3 conveyor belts to transport guests around the 27.5km of varied terrain. This is a low altitude resort with elevations between 360 and 820m. In recent years the resort has undergone significant improvements and expansions, creating the Suerenberg (3 new slopes) and the added connection to the Kappe.
This diverse ski resort is a part of a larger network of 7 mountains, all of which are connected and share 2 toboggan slopes. Throughout the resort there is a high-performance snow making system which guarantees good snow levels on 28 pistes of which 14 are equipped with floodlights permitting night skiing and après-ski fun on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The resort provides terrain for all abilities of skiing including 14km of easy terrain, 12km of intermediate runs and 1.5km of difficult slopes to challenge.
