One of the most popular Ski resorts in Europe is the Arabba Ski Resort, located in the Province of Belluno, Italy. Linking four of the surrounding Dolomite passes - Campolongo, Gardena, Sella and Pordoi the resort boasts over 62 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes to enjoy and elevations between 1,602 and 2,478 meters, skiers and snowboarders alike will be in their element.
There is a diverse mix of slopes for all abilities to take advantage of. The 32 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes are brilliant for those who are new to the winter sport, the 22 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red slopes provide some steeper slopes for those who are looking for a bit more challenge, and the 8 kilometres of ‘expert’ black slopes are much more ambitious and include some of the best steep runs on the Sella Ronda circuit. Residents and visitors can also take part in heliskiing and off-piste up on the Marmolada glacier. There are a total of 21 lifts to make travelling around the slopes much easier.
Night skiing is also available on the illuminated, floodlit slopes - perfect for those who find the skiing day that little bit too short!
When the skiing day is over and it’s time to take a break after the fun on Arabba’s slopes, why not visit one of the resort’s rustic mountain huts, and taste the typical dishes of the mountain, with delicious cuisine and a range of drinks, a great time is guaranteed for the whole family.
