The Kanin-Sella Nevea/Bovec ski resort is a joint Slovenian-Italian resort which is located on the slopes of Mt Kanin and Sella Nevea Pass, Goriška right on the Slovenian-Italian border. It is a medium sized resort but has the reputation of being the highest ski centre in Slovenia. Consisting of 10.5 kilometres of slopes and with elevations between 1,103 and 2,292 metres, its sunny position and great elevations provided magnificent views right into the heart of the Alps and the Adriatic Sea.
There is plenty of terrain for guests to explore, including gentle descents for first time skiers and snowboarders to get to grips with. 10 lifts transport eager guests to their chosen slopes, with 4.2 kilometres of easy slopes and 6.3 kilometres of intermediate slopes to choose from. This balance gives new skiers a chance to gain confidence, whilst the more advanced can challenge themselves on more demanding terrain.
But it is not just skiing this resort is perfect for, there is so much more on offer including toboggan runs, sledding, winter hikes and off-piste trails to explore.
