The ski resort Civetta–Alleghe/Selva di Cadore/Palafavera/Zoldo is located in the Province of Belluno, Italy. It is a 1 hour and 45-minute transfer to Bolzano airport and is a favourite ski resort for many with its wide range of slopes and many exciting activities to explore. It also has the reputation of being the biggest ski area in the Veneto region.
Civetta lies between the Marmolada and Cortina d´Ampezzo and connects the ski resorts of Alleghe,Zoldo, Selva di Cadore and Palafavera. In totality boasts a fantastic 80 kilometers of slopes with elevations between 1,000 meters and 2,100 meters, meaning that fantastic snow coverages is ensured throughout the winter season.
There are slopes of all difficulty levels ranging from steep slopes to beginner runs, the 30 kilometers of ‘easy’ blue runs are perfect for beginners who are looking to try out their skis for the first time. 44 kilometers of ‘intermediate’ red runs and 6 kilometers of ‘expert’ black runs provide some steep and exhilarating slopes for the more advanced skiers to challenge themselves. The resort also offer an additional 40 kilometers of cross-country tracks, 2 of which are floodlit for night skiing until 23:00, perfect for those who find the skiing day too short.
As well as skiing, the resort also provides a wide range of other amenities and activities for people to enjoy; there is tobogganing, snowshoe hiking and snow parks for those who are looking for a little more adventure off the slopes. Alongside the variety of slopes and extra activities, Civetta also has a fantastic après ski scene, with a multitude of cafes, bars, restaurants and terraces to relax and unwind.
