The beautiful resort of Campo Felice-Rocca di Cambio is located in the Province of L’Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy and is only a 1.5-hour transfer from Rome Airport.
Campo Felice-Rocca di Cambio has a wide variety of terrain, within and above forested slopes, stretching over 30 kilometres in total. With elevations of 1,411 and 1,916 metres, snow is guaranteed throughout the winter season, and there are also 380 Snow cannons meaning 77 % of the slopes are groomed with artificial snow. The resort is mostly suited towards intermediate skiers with 16 kilometres of red slopes which provide challenging runs with fantastic views as an added bonus. There are also 5 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes; perfect for beginners and young children. The 9 kilometres of ‘expert’ black slopes, including the well-known Ariete piste ensures that even the most experienced skiers and snowboarders can get their adrenaline fix. There really is something for every ability and skill level. Alongside all the slopes there is also an additional 8 kilometres of ski routes for free riders.
Skiing is not the only activity at the resort, as snow tubing is very popular and guests can slip and slide down the 90-metre-long designated tubing trail. Located next to the trail is ‘Campo Scuola’ one of three well renowned and outstanding ski schools where children of all ages and abilities can get to grips with their skis.
