For a combination of skiing during the day and a lively atmosphere at night the Nozawa Onsen ski resort located in Nagano Prefecture, Chūbu, Honshu, Japan is a perfect choice. The resort provides guests with wonderful skiing in the day and a lively experience throughout the night.
Nozawa Onsen provides 22.1km of easy slopes for beginners, 13km of intermediate slopes for novice skiers and 9.2km of difficult terrain for expert and advanced skiers, totalling 44.5km of varied slopes. The longest trail is 10km which runs from the top of the mountain to the bottom, by passing 3 courses, a steep expert course, a middle section of intermediate slopes and forest terrain for beginners. There are 18 operational lifts and elevations here are between 565 and 1,650m. Sometimes the slopes aren’t enough or can become familiar, if this is the case then the valley run will appease, as will the snow park and half pipe, night skiing is available here and enjoyed by many.
This wonderful resort offers traditional, classic Japanese dining on the mountain and in the village, it brings locals and tourist together creating a wonderful atmosphere.
