A superb smaller ski resort found in Podlaskie Voivodeship, Poland, the ski resort Rybno is the perfect destination for families and novice skiers or snowboarders to get to grips with the snow. Between elevations of 100 and 140 metres, and with 1.9 kilometres of slopes on total, visitors and residents can expect gentle descents and easy surfaces to practice on.
In fact, 1.5 kilometres of space is dedicated to easy slopes and 0.4 kilometres to intermediate slopes, which throws beginners in at the proverbial deep end when they hit the slopes for the first time. There are 6 ski lifts to help guests navigate to the best area for skiing, and the slopes also have artificial snow making capabilities in case the snowfall hasn’t been up to scratch during the night. Keeping on the subject on night, night skiing is also available as the whole of the resort is lit by floodlighting and enables guests to glide under the stars.
There is also a small selection of restaurants, terraces and huts for guests to explore at the end of a long day on the slopes, or you can even stop at a cafe for a quick snack to recharge your batteries.
