Poiana Brasov ski resort can be found hidden within Brasov County, Romania. This petite resort is perfect for anyone who is trying the winter sports for the first time. The crowds and cues are unheard of, allowing for beginners to find themselves and build on their confidence in their own time.
In total, guests are able to explore 13.7km of varied slopes including 5.8km of easy runs, 2.8km of intermediate runs and 5.1km of difficult terrain to explore. There are an alternative 5km of ski routes and a valley run available also. There are 10 operational lifts transporting guests throughout the resort.
Elevations at Poiana are between 1,021m and 1,799m, meaning the location gets wonderful snow levels and provides great ski conditions, if required there is a network of 145 artificial snow cannons covering 100% of the resort. Night skiing is one of the attractions here, with 0.5km of floodlit slopes available through the week.
