Stari Vrh resort information

Skiers and snowboarders often enjoy Slovenian slopes, by way of Stari Vrh ski resort. Set within the Gorenjska (Upper Carniola) region of Slovenia, there are 12km of slopes available to explore, along with 4 ski lifts to ferry guests around. The resort is situated within elevations of 580m and 1,217m.

Slopes are divided according to skiing ability, and include 4km of easy blue slopes, 6km of intermediate red slopes and 2km of difficult black slopes. This range helps the resort attract a whole mix of different guests, from young families to groups of friends wanting to enjoy their first skiing holiday together. For those with limited skiing experience, there are instructors on site to give them the very basics before they get out on the snow. Gentle descents are in stark contrast to the black runs challenging expert skiers, with many staying out to make use of night skiing, way after the sun has gone down.
