If you’re an experienced skier and seeking something more thrilling then Beaver Creek Resort is one of the largest resorts in Western America, and is situated close to Avon Colorado. The resort consists of 3 villages; Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead.
The resort offers 25 operable lifts, with over 150 trails to follow split into 5 categories. They include Beginners (Green) covering 345 acres, Intermediate (Blue) covering 766 acres, Advanced (Red) covering 395 acres, Expert (Black) covering 221 acres and Extreme covering 95 acres. Elevations are between 2,255m and 3,488m, offering a huge variety of terrain and difficulty.
Aside from the skiing experience the resort also offers; snow tubing, sleigh ride dinner, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. The village offers a wide range of amenities including shops, restaurants, spas, performing arts centre and Beaver Creek Teens Too which is specially created to keep young people between ages of 13 and 17 satisfied. Right in the centre of the village, people can expect to see and visit the ice rink, the entire resorts and villages are surrounding the rink, from above the views are breath taking.
