The Killington Mountain Ski Resort is an outstanding ski resort in the northeast United States, near Killington, Vermont and stretches across seven mountain areas. It is the largest ski resort in eastern America and has the largest vertical drop in New England.
Skiers can revel in the resorts 126.4 kilometres of slopes with elevations between 355 and 1,285 meters. The high altitudes and 1500 excellent snow-making facilities means that the ski season is guaranteed from the end of November until late April. With 37.4 kilometers of ‘easy’ blue runs, there is even a ski school to teach children and adults in the beginning stages of their skiing journey. With 43 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red runs and 46 kilometers of ‘expert’ black runs including the double diamond slope Devil’s Fiddle, there really is something for every skier to enjoy limitless amounts of fun in the snow.
Skiing and boarding is not all this fantastic resort has to offer, there is a wealth of other activities for all to enjoy including sledging down one of the specially prepared runs, great fun for all the family. Snow shoe hiking is also very popular with trails through winter woodlands and snowy meadows. Whatever you enjoy doing, there is so much to choose from at this outstanding resort.
