In the heart of Canton of Pennsylvania, in the United states of America lies the small ski resort of Montage Mountain. It provides some of the best and most diverse terrain Pennsylvania has to offer it even has the 2nd steepest slope on the east coast. It is a relatively new ski resort compared to most as it has only been open for 30 years but is ideal for confident and expert skiers and snowboarders who want to indulge in exhilarating skiing, a variety of winter activities and relaxing après-ski.
The resort itself consists of 9.5 kilometres of ski slopes set between elevation ranges of 285 and 594 metres and is made up of 2 kilometres of easy slopes, 4 kilometres of intermediate slopes and 3.5 kilometres of expert slopes and has 5 lifts for seamless transportation around the resort. So, whether you are a confident cruiser or an absolute powder professional, you’re sure to find a slope to suit you. Night skiing is also a popular and added bonus to this resort with its 10 kilometres of floodlit ski slopes, ideal for those who find the skiing day that little bit too short. For snowboarders looking for perfect jibs, and natural features, are sure to feel at home here, there is a weekly competition at the Terrain Park where winners can get their hands on a range of ski equipment from the fantastic ski store.
After a long day indulging on the powdered slopes, guests can choose between a selection of restaurants and rustic huts with table service, along with a selection of bars for après-ski.
