The Ski Resort Mt. Hood Meadows is located in Oregon, United States of America. This fantastic resort offers the most sensational and diverse terrain in the Northwest and is well known for its ‘diversity and playfulness’. With 90 kilometres of slopes and elevations between 1,378 and 2,225 meters it is specially suitable for expert skiers, however that’s not to say that beginners and families are not catered for here as there are more than enough beginner runs to choose from.
For those skiers new to the winter sport, there are 13.5 kilometres of smooth ‘blue’ slopes to get to grips with at an easy pace. With the majority of the slopes targeted towards the more confident skiers - 45 kilometres of ‘red’ slopes and 31.5 kilometres of ‘black’ slopes, this resort ensures that ambitious skiers and professionals can have endless fun on the pistes. There are also snow cannons which ensure quality snow coverage throughout the skiing season.
There are over 9 restaurants to choose from when it comes to dining and après-ski, if it’s quick snack between slopes then the Fresh Tracks Deli is perfect, for more evening dining then the Alpenstube Restaurant offers a delectable menu on the beautiful slope side.
