Whiteface – Lake Placid ski resort can be found hidden in The Adirondacks, New York City, USA. This wonderful resort provides guests with 35km of varied slopes, 7km of easy slopes for beginners to practice on and learn the skills and techniques required, there are 15km of intermediate slopes and 13km of difficult terrain to challenge even experienced skiers.
To transport around the resort there are 10 operating lifts, elevations at Whiteface are between 371 and 1,340m. The mountain known as the Olympic Mountain has some of the greatest vertical drops, the most challenging runs a snow park and valley run. Whiteface is also used by some of the best winter sports competitors come to practice and train.
At the highest peak of Whiteface guests should take a moment to take in the magnificent views of the surrounding Adirondack peaks of New York. Spot Lake Champlain and Vermont to the east. The longest run is the Wilmington trail it is 3km in length, the most difficult run is the Upper and Lower Skyward, other exciting runs include the Excelsior and U Park.
