A hidden delight in the Outdoorpark Oberdrautal Upper Carinthia, Austria is the Emberger Am – Berg im Drautal ski resort, featuring 10km of varied slopes including 5km of easy slopes for beginners, 4km of intermediate slopes for novice skiers and 1km of difficult slopes to explore. In addition to the slopes there is also a valley run available which is a popular feature for those who enjoy a little challenge.
The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,600m and 2,150m and there are 4 operational lifts 3 T-Bar lifts and 1 practice lift transporting guests around the resort on a daily basis. This cosy resort is a favourite amongst locals however it isn’t over run like some of the larger more popular resorts even during the holiday the waiting times for the lifts is minimal. Many people tend to explore this resort for first time skiing and snowboarding, it is a great place for people to get to grips with the slopes and to be able to develop onto more challenging slopes.
