For some excellent Austrian skiing, the Schlick 2000 – Fulpmes ski resort has over 20.6km of slopes available with an additional 1.5km of ski routes to discover. There are 9 lifts to transport guests between elevations of 1,000m and 2,240m. This ensures lots of guaranteed fresh snow, backed up by 116 snow cannons that cover 70% of the slopes.
Visitors and residents will be pleased to find 12km of easy slopes, 6km of intermediate slopes and 2.6km of difficult runs at the resort. This definitely favours first time skiers, but the addition of the marked ski route leading from close to the Kreuzjoch lift means more confident skiers can easily explore the area and find some challenging terrain. In addition, there is also a snow park and halfpipe for freestylers to practice their best moves, or newcomers to practice their technique.
After a strenuous day on the slopes or discovering new forest trails, guests will be keen to get some nourishment, and there’s a wide variety of restaurants and bars to choose from. Highlights include Gasthof Grobenhof for delicious Austrian delicacies and Herr Klaus - Das Restaurants for burgers and fries.
