Laterns – Gapfohl ski resort is a wonderful place for a relaxing mini ski break, it offers skiing and snowboarding for all levels of experience. There are in total 27km of varied slopes and 11km of ski routes available. Across the resort guests will find 6 operational lifts to utilise up and down the elevations which are between 1,040 and 1,785m. The majority of the slopes here are tailored for intermediate skiers, however, because the resort is a family friendly one there are terrains for all skiing abilities, there are 8km of easy trails, 15km of intermediate runs and 4km of difficult terrain.
Laterns can be found in Bodensee-Vorarlberg, Austria, on the edge of the Bregenz forest and close to the Rhine Valley. Aside from the skiing other highlights here include a natural toboggan run, sledging, snow shoe tours and various ski tour routes. The longest run here is the Nob-Innerlaterns at 3.6km in length and the most challenging slope is the Fallenboden Nord North run. Other recommended slopes include the valley run, Torlaufstrecke on the Slalom course and the Fallenboden Sued South run.
This ideal family resort is located just 60 minutes from Hohenems/Dornbirn Airport.
