A hidden treasure in Bregenzerwald, Vorarlberg, Austria lays the beautiful ski resort Hochhaderich-Hittisau. This remarkable resort offers 10.5km of slopes catering for all skiing and snowboarding abilities guests are able to indulge in 3.5km of ‘easy’ slopes, 5km of ‘intermediate’ terrain and 2km of ‘difficult’ runs. There are 5 operational lifts in total to transport guests around the high altitude mountain. Elevations at Hochhaderich are between 1,250 and 1,600m.
The ‘panoramaabfahrt’ run starts at the highest elevation and ends at the base of the resort it offers the best views of the whole mountain side and beyond. This is a wonderful choice of resort for the whole family to be able to enjoy and brush up on their skiing skills and also for those who enjoy cross country skiing. The season is usually open from December until April.
The hotel here, Hochhäderich Alpenarena offers a wonderful spa area, perfect after a hard day on the slopes, and also a wonderful restaurant with some remarkable cuisines to taste. All of this located just 55 minutes from the nearest airport Hohenems/Dornbirn.
