The ski resort Königsberg – Hollenstein an der Ybbs is located in the District of Amstetten, Lower Austria. With 14 kilometres of slopes and elevations between 715 and 1,078 metres, this resort is perfect for skiers of all ages and abilities who want to experience an amazing winter skiing holiday.
Skiers and snowboarders have more than enough terrain to keep them happy as they explore the area of this resort. Using the 6 ski lifts to navigate the slopes, guests can get to their chosen slope with ease, and given it is a smaller resort, there is a much lower chance of queues. Guests can choose to tackle 7 kilometres of easy slopes, 5 kilometres of intermediate slopes or 2 kilometres of expert slopes. If you’re brand new to skiing and snowboarding, then worry not as there is an outstanding ski school on site which has amazing resources and instructors to guide children and adults in the initial stages of their skiing journey.
Alongside the great selection of slopes there is a variety of rustic huts located up and down the slopes, ideal for a quick bite to eat or refreshment. After dining, guests can relax in a lounger on the terrace - a perfect place for a break from the slopes.
