Obergurgl-Hockgurgl ski resort can be found located in the Ötztal, Imst, Tiroler Oberland, Tyrol, Austria, this magnificent resort presents guests with 110km of slopes and 5km of ski routes for skiing and snowboarding. Winter sports are situated between the elevations of 1,793 and 3,082m, there are 22 operational lifts located throughout the resort. Slopes here are varied, offering 35km of easy slopes for beginners to enjoy, intermediate slopes dominate with 55km and difficult runs have 20km of slopes to challenge the most experienced skiers. Most of the runs are located above treeline and are often wide.
The resort takes pride in offering so much fun to guests, with high quality skiing available, well maintained slopes and a long season this is a wonderful choice. There are various activities available which include; cross-country trails, winter hiking paths, guided ski tours, fun toboggan parties and night time snow shoe trips and the offering is constantly increasing, the snow park is popular and the halfpipe is great for boarders who enjoy free style. The longest run is a combination of No. 26, 24 and 25 from Wurmkogl to Pill, the most challenging run is No. 27 Wurmkogel to Wurmkogel middle station, other recommended runs are No. 25 Hochgurgl-valley run to Pill, No. 1 Hohe Mut-Gaisberg, No. 28 Schermer and No. 20 Kirchenkar.
