Set amongst a small picturesque village in the Great Walser Valley of Vorarlberg, Austria is the Raggal Ski Resort. Families and beginner skiers particularly enjoy themselves at this resort as it is more suited towards the beginner skiers with much wider slopes, there is also less waiting times for lifts and is set away from the hustle and bustle of some of the larger resorts.
There are 7 kilometres of slopes available for guests to explore, set between the elevations of 960 and 1,300 metres. There are so many slopes to choose from when it comes to beginner skiing, the 4 kilometres of blue runs are wide with a more gradual descent. In addition to this the ski school offers lessons for all ages and abilities and is a terrific way to learn to ski or snowboard in a comfortable, structured setting. For the more advanced skiers there are 3 kilometres of red runs to experience and. Even though there are no black runs, there are plenty of off-piste slopes for the advanced skiers to get more of a challenge.
Even though this resort is small in size, there are many options for guests to spend their time including an exhilarating rush down the Gafidura toboggan run. The small homely feel of this resort and its variety of slopes makes this a lovely resort for all the family.
