Situated in the Kleinwalsertal district of Austria, and Oberallgau, Germany is the Fellhorn/kanzelwand-Oberstdorf/Riezlern ski resort. It is a beautiful resort that provides skiers and snowboarders with diamond white slopes, 34 kilometres of ski runs of varying terrain and elevations between 920 and 1,967 metres. In addition to this, the resort also has an additional 2 kilometres of marked ski routes.
There really is something for every ability at this fantastic resort. Beginners can choose from 13 kilometres of wide, more gradual slopes practising their skills in the Riezlern practice area. For younger children there is the Fun Park ‘Crystal Ground’ where children can play and have fun in the snow in their own designated area. For those who want something a little more challenging then there are 19 kilometres of slopes and for skiers and boarders who are looking for an adrenaline rush, there are 2 kilometres of slopes waiting to be explored, the longest run is the Kanzelwand-Riezlern valley run whilst the Mogul slope is one of the steepest slope with the trickiest terrain.
There are so many choices for dining and après ski with 9 bars and restaurants to choose from. Adlerhorst is located at the base of the Zwerenalp lift and serves delicious food and have a large terrace for skiers to relax and take in the amazing views of the surrounding area. For that real après ski feel then the Après-Ski Bar Riezlern is ideal serving a wide range of drinks and even has a DJ, this fantastic bar can be found at the base station of the Kanzelwand lift.
