Collectively known as Skicircus, this large Austrian ski resort has combined 2 resorts to create one of the largest in the Glemmtal and Saalfelden Leogang area. Visitors and residents are lucky enough to benefit from 270km of slopes, perfect for skiers and snowboarders to sample during their trip.
The two resorts consist of Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang and Fieberbrunn, combined as recently as 2015/2016. This merger under the banner of Skicircus has also lead to modernisation of the resort including 71 lifts, well-equipped facilities and very high standards all round.
At an elevation between 830 and 2,096 metres, there are slopes to suit all skill-levels from beginner all the way up to advanced. The variety of slopes is ideal to attract a universal skiing audience, although there are far more slopes classified as easy and intermediate, rather than hard.
Well-known for being a freeriding hotspot, Skicircus has a number of snowparks with mesmerising views of the Kitzbühel Alps. In addition, visitors and residents can enjoy curling, cross-country skiing, paragliding, ice skating, hiking and toboggan runs. After a long day indulging in all these extra activities, guests can choose between fine dining restaurants and rustic huts with table service, along with an abundance of bars for aprés-ski.
