Situated in the Great Walser Valley in Austria, the Sonntag-Stein ski resort is a wonderful smaller resort with a lot to offer visiting skiers and snowboarders. There are 7km of slopes for guests to discover, with 2 ski lifts to navigate easily around the slopes. The resort itself sits between elevations of 1,300m and 1,750m above sea level.
This resort is aimed at the less experienced skiers and snowboarders, given it has 4km of easy slopes and 3km of intermediate slopes, with no difficult slopes. This means that visitors and residents can take their time at this resort, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and take winter sports at their own pace. Families and pleasure skiers are very much welcome here, as they can enjoy the gentle descents before moving onto slightly steeper runs when their confidence is up. To ensure there is plenty of fresh snow on the slopes each morning, the resort is equipped with snow cannons that cover 50% of the slopes.
