Situated up at Lake Wolfgang in Austria, the Zwölferhorn – St. Gilgen is a wonderful smaller ski resort that has 7km of fresh slopes on offer for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy. There are 2 ski lifts to allow guests to navigate the resort easily, and the elevations for the skiing area range between 560m and 1,522m.
Overall there are 1km of easy blue slopes, 5km of intermediate red slopes and 1km of difficult black slopes for guests to explore during their stay. Despite being a smaller resort compared to others in the area, the variety of surfaces allows for many different abilities of skier to attend the resort, taking on the course that is most suited to their experience. Complete beginners who have never set foot on the snow can learn all the basic techniques here, whilst those with significant experience in different winter sports disciplines can seek out the red and black slopes. In addition, there is also a valley run at the resort for those wanting to explore the local area in more depth.
