The tiny ski resort of Stanzach is situated in the Naturpark Lechtal area of Austria. With just 0.5km of slopes available, it is abundantly clear that the resort takes skiing and snowboarding at a much slower pace, attracting a lot of families and pleasure skiers from all over the world. There are 3 ski lifts available to navigate the slopes and the elevation of the resort ranges from 940m to 1,049m.
In total, the entire 0.5km is classified as an easy blue run, ensuring that first time skiers and families with younger children will appreciate the pace. Gentle descents will allow novices to master the basics during their stay, while enjoying fresh slopes every day of the winter season. This is down to artificial snow cannons that top up the pistes when the snowfall hasn’t been as expected. In addition, there is also a valley run here for skiers and snowboarders to explore.
