At the Steinberg am Rofan ski resort, skiers and snowboarders will find just 1km of fresh slopes to explore at their own pace. Set within the Achensee area of Austria, this tiny resort also contains 3 ski lifts for guests to use during their stay, which will take them to elevations between 1,050m and 1,250m.
The entirety of slopes on offer are classified as easy blue runs, ensuring that families and novice skiers are made to feel at home here. This resort is ideal for those wanting an enjoyable first time on the snow, without queuing or even overcrowding to dissuade them from having a good time. In addition, there is a fantastic valley run for skiers and snowboarders to try out during their time at the resort.
From being included in the Achensee holiday region, it means that guests have easy access to a whole host of additional activities including cross-country skiing, toboggan runs, 150km of winter hiking trails, ice skating and climbing. The 3 other linked ski areas include Hochalmlifte Christlum, Rofanseilbahn and Karwendal-Bergbahn.
