A hidden gem in Styria, Austria, the Präbichl – Vordernberg ski resort can be found in Hochsteiermark. This cosy resort is dominated by intermediate slopes, but it does provide slopes for all skiing levels.
In total there are 20km of varied slopes, 6km of easy slopes for beginners, 11km of intermediate slopes and 3km of difficult terrain to be challenged and a valley run. To access the entire resort there is a network of 5 operational lifts moving winter sports fanatics between the elevations of 1,100m and 1,608m.
The resort is known for its snow reliability, however, on occasion the snow cannons need to be used to top up the snow levels covering 100% of the resort. Throughout Präbichl there are restaurants and snack shacks located throughout, a highly recommended restaurant is at high altitudes at the Polster schutzhaus. Skiing should be a fun experience for all and to add to the laughter sledging is available.
