Set within the Hochsteiermark region of Austria, the Sonnberglifts – Wald am Schoberpass ski resort welcomes thousands of guests every year to its fabulous slopes. With 12km of slopes available for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy, they are often popular when it comes to the winter season. There are 3 ski lifts for guests to use, to take passengers in between elevations of 850m and 1,200m.
Skiers and snowboarders with varied experience are welcome at this resort, given that there are 4km of easy blue slopes, 5km of intermediate red slopes and 3km of difficult black slopes. This allows for those with limited experience to acclimate themselves to the snow, and even improve during their stay to the point they can try harder courses. If that’s not enough, there is also a valley run to try and night skiing available for those who just can’t get enough of winter sports. Lastly, there are also artificial snow-making capabilities to ensure the slopes are always topped up with fresh snow by morning, whatever the weather.
