Valle Nevado resort information

A fantastic ski resort perfect for the more experienced and expert skiers is the ski resort Valle Nevado, which is located in the Santiago Metropolitan Region (Región Metropolitana de Santiago) of Chile. Just over an hour transfer away from Santiago de Chile Airport, this gem of a resort is highly popular amongst guests and locals.

This fantastic resort offers 40 kilometres of slopes with elevations between 2,860 and 3,670 meters, so whether you are a powder professional or a beginner on the slopes you’re sure to find something to suit you. There are 4 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes with wider runs for turning, stopping and gliding. There are 14.4 kilometres of slopes for those who want something a little more challenging. If you are a thrill seeker and after pure exhilaration then there are 21.6 kilometres of ‘expert’ black runs such as the ‘Twist’ and the ‘Shake’ runs located as the top of the Tres Puntas lift.

Valle Nevado offers great après ski and dining options with a selection of bars and cafes throughout the resort. The Bar Puerta del Sol is a very popular meeting place with guests and the Valle Lounge serves amazing cocktails by the fireplace. The Mirador del Plomo has a delectable menu ranging from local cuisines to pizzas and food fresh from the grill.
