The Ski resort Gressoney-Saint-Jean–Weissmatten is located on the Monte Rosa, Aosta Valley in Italy. This cosy little resort offers visitors 12 kilometres of ski slopes and elevations between 1,348 and 2,023 metres. This amazing resort is only 70 minutes from nearest airport ‘Corrado Gex Airport’ and is perfect for all abilities and ages with slopes ranging from smooth and gentle, to extreme descents and terrain.
For beginner skiers and young families there is 6 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes, ideal for those who want wider, gentler slopes, there is also a baby snow park which is favourable for those visitors with much younger children. For those who want a little more exhilaration, there is 4 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red slopes including Collegamento-Skiweg. If you’re a more confident skier and want the challenge of steeper slopes then Leonardo David SL is perfect alongside the other 2 kilometres of ‘expert’ black slopes. Night school is also an added attraction to this resort as guests can ski on floodlit slopes underneath the stars.
Only a short 3 minutes' walk from the pedestrian centre you will be greeted by local shops, little bars and restaurants - ideal for low-key après ski. Cé is a lovely restaurant and bar with a terrace overlooking the pond. This resort is the perfect choice of destination for those who are seeking some winter sports fun and looking to make fantastic memories.
