Breckenridge ski resort can be found in Colorado, USA and with 153km of slopes available, there is plenty for skiers and snowboarders to explore. The slopes include 28km for beginners, 60km for intermediate skiers and 65km for those who would consider themselves advanced. There are elevations of 2926km and 3914km making the resort the highest in Summit County, Colorado.
The town of Breckenridge is a Victorian town, and welcomes thousands of tourists every year. The village is situated at elevations of 2926m and it is here where the lifts are loaded to take guests to the peaks of 3914m. The runs at peaks 7,8,9 and 10 head down through the forest and into the valleys, but the higher up the mountains you head the more difficult the skiing becomes. The longest run available is called Four-O-Clock at 5km in length, and the most difficult run is the Devils Crotch which is 1km in length.
After a good day on the snow, why not try out one of the many restaurants available? There are menus available including everything from soups, to steaks, fine dining to snack bars, pizza, Italian, Asian and sushi. The Hearthstone Restaurant is highly recommended with a menu to suit everyone, with a wonderful atmosphere and attentive service.
