The town of Breckenridge is a Victorian town, and welcomes thousands of tourists every year. The village is situated at elevations of 2926m and it is here where the lifts are loaded to take guests to the peaks of 3914m. The runs at peaks 7,8,9 and 10 head down through the forest and into the valleys, but the higher up the mountains you head the more difficult the skiing becomes. The longest run available is called Four-O-Clock at 5km in length, and the most difficult run is the Devils Crotch which is 1km in length.
