Situated in the breath-taking area of Oregon, is one of the largest ski areas in the United States. Mount Bachelor Ski Resort receives some amazing snow fall, with over 100 kilometres of slopes, with elevations between 1,737 and 2,763 metres for skiers and snowboarders alike to get their fill of adventure. There is also an additional 25 kilometres of marked ski routes to explore.
For novices and younger families there are 15 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue runs to find your feet on the slopes, the resort also has an excellent ski school with fantastic resources and instructors who can teach adults and children in the initial stages of their skiing journey. For those who already know how to ski and are in the average-advanced level, there are 25 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red runs. There is also 60 kilometres of black tracks for experts, where you can experience a range of highly exhilarating tracks and slopes. The resort even has a fantastic designated area for those who prefer to snowboard, including has several hills and covered places out of the ski tracks.
Activities within the resort aren't just limited to skiing and snowboarding, visitors and guests can discover the mountains on panoramic snow shoe trails, go tobogganing or enjoy a dog sled ride. A popular attraction at this resort are big mountain heli tours, where guests can experience the mountains in a whole new way. For dining, Pinnacles serves a good hearty breakfast, ideal to get your batteries charged before hitting the slopes whilst the Clearing Rock Bar provides some of the most breath-taking views of Mount Bachelor, ideal for relaxing whilst watching the skiers and snowboarders tackle the slopes below.
