The Ski Resort Mt. Rose is located at Lake Tahoe in the United States of America. It offers some of the steepest and longest slopes in the whole of North America as well as offering amazing 360 degree views of Nevada’s Truckee Meadows and Lake Tahoe.
Mount Rose has a great balance of terrain with a number of trails for all abilities. It boasts a fantastic 100 kilometres of slopes with elevations ranging between 2,407 and 2,957 meters. This snowy paradise is more suited for experts and intermediate skiers with 50 kilometres of black runs, with some mogul runs to choose from and 30 kilometres of well-groomed red runs. However, beginner skiers will thrive at the resort too and can practice their skills on the 20 kilometres of beginner slopes where most of the easy terrain is located near the main lodge.
Great news for snowboarders is the fact that Mt. Rose has 4 different terrain parks, Badlands, Double Down, Galena Spines and for the novice tricksters, the Pondo Progression Park.
Mr Rose a great deal to offer as a resort, with access to a variety of things to see and do in the area and the ability to reach restaurants, bars and shops very easily.
