The magnificent Scheitzer Mountain Resort is situated in Idaho, USA. With over 95km of slopes available to skiers and snowboarders, there is a huge amount to explore, so much so guests will be completely spoilt for choice. There are 8 ski lifts to get around the massive resort, including a six-seater high speed lift known affectionately as Stella. The slopes on the other hand are within an elevation of 1,206m and 1,950m.
As the biggest resort in the Idaho and Washington area, guests will be able to stare out over three other states, appreciating the panoramic views whilst enjoying the phenomenal skiing and snowboarding opportunities.
In total, there are 2900 skiable acres of land, and 92 trails to explore whilst staying at the resort. There are 20km of easy slopes, 40km of intermediate slopes and 35km of difficult slopes. In addition, there is some amazing night-skiing on offer, as well as a snow park and halfpipe for freestylers looking to practice their best tricks.
Those wanting something tantalisingly tasty after their ski adventures can make the most of a huge range of restaurants. Highlights include the Red Hawk Café and the Chimney Rock Grill for great food, beer and cocktails, catering to both families and the après ski crowd too. For those who really want to party, there is the Great Beer Blast, an alcoholic scavenger hunt across 5 bars in the resort.
