The Snowbasin ski resort is located in the mountains of Utah, USA. With over 48km of fresh slopes at an elevation of between 1,950m and 2,850m, visitors and residents normally enjoy a consistent snowfall over the winter period. Slopes can be accessed via the 9 ski lifts that ferry passengers around the resort at a quick pace.
In total, there are 5km of easy blue runs, 28km of intermediate red runs and 5km of difficult black runs for visitors and residents to contend with. This diversity ensures a great holiday can be had by skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. In addition, there are 5 separate terrain parks with 65 rails for freestylers to enjoy, as well as 26km of Nordic trails to follow, which makes this resort fantastic for those that like to explore the surrounding area.
The dining is also one of the best aspects of staying at Snowbasin, considering there are a huge range of super-cool lodges to kick back in after a long day on the slopes. Try out Earl’s Lodge, Needles Lodge or John Paul Lodge, which provides 360-degree panoramic views out over the mountain range. There is regular live music at Cinnabar, which is also the place for the best après ski in the resort.
