Internationally renowned for being an outstanding winter destination, Sugarloaf is a huge ski resort located in Maine, USA. With a whopping 119km of slopes to choose from, there is more than enough for skiers and snowboarders to get to grips with. There are 13 ski lifts that guests can use to traverse the resort, which is situated between elevations of 426m and 1,286m.
There are a huge amount of areas to explore at this resort, with varying terrain that ensures there is something for everyone. One of the newest areas is Snowfields, where guests can marvel at the panoramic views of Vermont, New Hampshire and Mount Katahdin. There is also Brackett Basin, Burnt Mountain, Timberline Quad, King Pine Bowl, Central Mountain, Whiffletree, Double Runner and West Mountain.
In its entirety, there are 28km of easy blue runs, 40km of intermediate red runs and 51km of difficult black runs. This ensures that there are beginners that can enjoy their first time on the slopes, whilst advanced skiers can make the most of fantastic slopes that challenge and exhilarate them at the same time. The longest run here is 5km and has an elevation difference of 860m.
