As one of the largest and most popular ski resorts in the USA, the Ski Resort Vali has a lot on offer for visitors and residents who are looking for a fantastic and vibrant skiing holiday. With 234 kilometres of slopes located across the large resort, the Vali really does have a great deal on offer for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy.
The resort itself is split into different areas such as Mid Vail, Blue Sky Basin and Wildwood with each area offering something a little different as well as making it easier to navigate to your area and slopes of choice. They are all easy enough to travel between and there are slopes of each difficulty within each area, meaning you can explore the 57 kilometres of easy, calmer slopes on the Gopher Hill and Village Mountain Plaza or Challenge yourself on some of the 84 kilometres of intermediate slopes at Blue Sky Basin. For those advanced skiers there are 84 kilometres of expert black slopes in The Blue Sky Basin and The Back Bowl. The resorts most demanding slope is the Prima Corniche situated in the Front Side of Vail Mountain where you can also find many mogul slopes. Snowboarders can also take advantage of the outstanding terrain park on Adventure Ridge with many obstacles to show off those skills.
Once you have had enough of skiing, there is a great deal of additional activities on offer including dog sledding, hiking and snowshoe trails, as well as 12 mountain restaurants and bars to choose from. The 10th is a new and modern restaurant with superb views of the Gore Range or for something a little different, Wildwood serves fresh food straight from the grill. Guests will have little chance of getting bored on their trip to Vali.
