The Ski Resort Grebenzen-St, Lambrecht is located in the Murtal Mountain, Steiermark, Styria, Austria. This outstanding resort provides idyllic snowy landscapes and some fantastic ski slopes suited to any skiing ability.
This resort attracts a diverse range of residents who are keen to experience everything the area has to offer. With elevation ranges between 1,010 and 1,870 meters and a leaning towards easy and intermediate slopes, it an ideal destination for novice skiers and families, although it does provide expert slopes for those who are confident skiers and up for the challenge of something a little more ambitious. In totality there are 12.2 kilometres of varied gradients of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. There are 2.9 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes, 9 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red slopes and 0.3 kilometres of ‘expert’ black slopes, the most difficult run is the Rennstrecke (race course) which is 1 kilometre in length. Whether you are one of the most inexperienced of skiers or highly skilled and ambitious, there are plenty of opportunities for endless fun on the pistes. As well as the 12.2 kilometres of slopes there is also an additional 13 kilometres of prepared and marked ski routes, if you’re looking for even more of a challenge.
Alongside the variety of slopes, there is also a huge amount of other activities for people to enjoy, for example tobogganing, snowshoe hiking and cross country skiing for those who are looking for a little more adventure. For those wanting to relax after a day on the slopes then the restaurant Dreiwiesenhütte at the base station has slounge chairs out on the sun terrace for you to relax in. In the evening, the atmosphere heats up - at the Après Ski bar Gruber Alm they serve a range of food and beverages which can be enjoyed under the stars.
