Nestled deep within Ski Amade - one of the largest ski resort networks in Europe - sits the picturesque Wagrain resort. Neighboured by Alpendorf and Flachau, the resort is favoured by visitors from across the world. With over 125km of slopes, spanning elevations of 740m -1980m, skiers and snowboarders of all abilities are able to explore and have fun.
Wagrain is the perfect location for the whole family - with 34km of easy terrain for those just starting out, 82km of intermediate terrain for the more experienced amongst us and 4km of difficult slopes for those looking to put their skills to the test. Moving around the resort is easy, with 35 lifts taking guests up and down the picturesque mountainside.
In addition to skiing and snowboarding, guests are encouraged to partake in a range of winter sports, including tobogganing, ice skating and snowshoe hiking. Wagrain's Winter World is a particular favourite with families with smaller children. Accessed by the impressive 'Roter 8er' lift, guests are transported into a winter wonderland snow park complete with magic carpet rides, a tubing park and a beginner’s slope. In the summer, the nearby waterpark is a favourite amongst all guests!
The resort is also home to a range of hugely popular and diverse bars and restaurants to help fight off the hunger after a day on the slopes. The Almmonte Restaurant is a firm favourite amongst locals and visitors alike - with great food at reasonable prices, there is simply no reason to complain!
