Idre Fjäll resort information

The ski resort Idre Fjäll is located in Central Sweden. This fantastic resort is a winter’s paradise and is one of the country’s most reliable destinations for snow, making it ideal for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities to hit the slopes. Elevations range between 588 and 890 metres, allowing for a varied amount of terrain to explore.

The ski resort is based at the top of Gränjesvålen Mountain, surrounded by mighty peaks and outstanding views for miles of beautiful forests and lakes. With 41 kilometres of slopes on offer, visitors and residents have plenty to explore, with a mixture of varying mountain and forest terrain. There are 17 kilometres of easy slopes, 22 kilometres of intermediate slopes and 2 kilometres of expert slopes so there really is something to appeal to every ability. Idre Fjäll even has both Dalarna's longest and steepest hill and everything in between.

Night owls will revel in the fact that night skiing is available on 1 kilometre of floodlit slopes, there is even a snow park and a dedicated ski school to help get beginners up to scratch.

There are several restaurants, bars and shops located within the resort. On the hill you there are several nice barbecue areas. The restaurant serves delicious local cuisine as well as popular classics. An added attraction which is popular amongst guests is their theme nights, with a popular combination of food and entertainment.
