Keystone Resort is an outstanding ski resort located in Keystone, Colorado, United States and is only a 1 hour and 20 minute transfer from Denver Airport. It is one of the biggest and most popular skiing areas in the USA and is made up of three mountains ā Dercum Mountain, North Peak, the Outback and offers absolutely amazing skiing opportunities aimed at all levels of abilities.
Consisting of a whopping 135 kilometres of ski slopes and an additional 100 kilometres of marked ski routes set at elevations between 2,835 and 3,651 metres. Visitors will be truly spoilt for choice given the masses of slopes available. There is definitely more slopes targeted towards the more intermediate and expert skiers but there are still so many slopes available for novice skiers. There are 25 kilometres of easy slopes, 65 kilometres of intermediate slopes and 45 kilometres of expert slopes including the most demanding slope the Grizz which is 1.5 kilometres in length. Being one of the largest ski areas in the USA the Kestone is very popular when it comes to night skiing as almost the entire front side of the ski resort, including the Terrain Park is floodlit with up to 15 kilometres of slopes to ski under the stars.
If you fancy trying some other activities during your stay, the resort is well-equipped with a nature trail, biking trails, climbing, tobogganing, snow shoe walking and alpine trails to take advantage of. Dining and apres ski is another added attraction as The Alpenglow Stube is the highest AAA Four Diamond restaurant in North America with a range of food to help recharge your batteries after a long day on the slopes.
