Skiing at high altitudes is available at the Whistler Blackcomb situated in Squamish-Lillooet Regional District, Vancouver Coast and Mountains, British Columbia, Canada. This large resort is the largest within Canada and offers various levels terrain to explore and challenge, there is a beautiful quaint village here that full fills all desires.
The Whistler Blackcomb Olympic ski resort consists of two mountains: Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain, attached by the Peak to Peak gondola. It provides guests with 200km of slopes and 50km of ski routes. There are 26 lifts at various locations throughout the resort to transport guests, elevations here are between 653 and 2,284m.
Intermediate slopes dominate the resort with 110km available, experienced skiers are able to challenge 50km of difficult terrain and for beginners there are 40km of slopes to keep you entertained. The longest run is the Greenline down Easy out in the Blackcomb Mountain, and Peak to Creek on the Whistler Mountain, throughout both mountains there are many enjoyable slopes, Springboard, Hugh’s Heaven, Ridge Runner all located on the Blackcomb Mountain, and Upper Olympic, Jeff’s Ode to Joe, The Saddle all on the Whistler Mountain.
