To experience the wonderful views over Vancouver and the Pacific Ocean, you can’t get much better than the Mount Seymour ski resort. With 23 kilometres of slopes, 3 lifts to transport guests and an elevation of between 935 and 1,265 metres, it’s no surprise that many die-hard ski fans call this resort their favourite.
The slopes on Mount Seymour offer a variety of difficulty levels with a good balance between easy, intermediate and difficult slopes. Beginners can take advantage of skiing on the 9 kilometres of easy slopes located across the whole of the resort, especially in Goldie Meadows Learning Area at the base area where you can practice your skills such as stopping and turning on more gentle slopes. Intermediate skiers can revel in 9 kilometres of slopes whilst for expert skiers, there are 5 kilometres of slopes to explore, mostly located at the top of the Brockton chairlift and the Mystery Peak Express, the Cliff House is 0.7 kilometres in length and is the resorts most demanding slope. Night owls can revel in the 15 kilometres of floodlit slopes the resort offers for night skiing, great for those who find the skiing day that little bit too short.
Especially for free riders, there are 4 separate outstanding snow parks available; Northlands Park TP2, the largest of the 4, Young Guns Terrain Park TP1, The Pit Terrain Park TP2 and the Mushroom Beginner Park which is ideal for beginners with much simpler obstacles. All are open for those wanting to challenge themselves and improvise on the snow.
When it comes to dining, wonderful food can be found in abundance, especially in The Three Peaks Lodge and the Enquist Lodge, both located at the base area of the resort.
