The Remarkables resort information

The New Zealand resort known as The Remarkables is situated in the Otago area in the south of the island. There are 10km of beautifully fresh slopes on offer, along with 4 ski lifts that guests can use when traversing the resort. The elevations here are between 1,586m and 1,943m.

There are 3km of easy blue runs, 4km intermediate red runs and 3km of difficult black runs for skiers and snowboarders to use during the winter season. This ensures that whilst novice-skiers are able to practice basic principles on the wider, gentler slopes, pro-skiers are able to take on the most challenging slopes at the resort. The longest run is 1.5km with an elevation difference of 357m and there is also a valley run for those who want to explore the resort to their heart’s content. In addition, there is a snow park for freestylers to enjoy themselves and artificial snow-making capabilities in case the snowfall isn’t as deep as expected.
