Gålå ski resort can be found in Lillehammer, Oppland and is located in the heart of Norway. It is a fantastic resort where you can ski directly from your cabin onto the slopes and trails. Stretching out on two sides of the lake, guests can enjoy the beauty of the surrounding scenery as well as the thrill of the slopes.

It is a winter paradise for skiing and snowboarding, with 19 kilometres of slopes to choose from. They are spread out across the two sides of the valley, directly connected to each other and all with varying difficulty. Elevations between 800 and 1,148 metres, and the slopes artificial snow making facilities ensure that snow is guaranteed throughout the winter season.

The majority of the runs in Gålå are ‘easy’ with 13 kilometres of wide, smooth slopes, but that doesn't mean to say there is not something to challenge even the most advanced skiers. With 5 kilometres of ‘intermediate’s runs and 1 kilometre of ‘expert’ runs, ambitious skiers and boarders can have endless fun on the pistes. In addition to this there is an alternative valley run, the longest run is the 3-kilometre-long Valsfjell-base station

Night owls will welcome the fact that night skiing is available on the resort's 4 kilometres of floodlit slopes. 230 kilometres of groomed cross-country tracks are also available if you’re after exploring a range of terrain from smooth cruises to steep chutes.
